University Hassan 1st

The history of Hassan 1st University is intimately linked to the history of higher education in the Settat region, which began in 1994 with the creation of the National School of Commerce and Management and the Faculty of Science and Technology. This university expansion continued with the establishment of a Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences and a University Residence. Such rapid development required more than ever the emancipation from Chouaib Doukkali University in El Jadida, which had supported all these creations. It was then that Hassan 1st University was established in 1997.
